First off, no, this isn’t 20 minutes of me talking about the death of Prince (though I definitely could) but rather me finding out it had BEEN 8 years since he passed, which really put a lot of things in perspective for me because that means The WellRED Comedy tour began 8 FREAKIN YEARS AGO!
Howdy, sir - thanks for the wide-ranging talk today! Reading the plaques got me thinkin - if you're ever in the neighborhood, both Antietam and Gettysburg have really good self-guided tours and I highly recommend 'em. They're not too awful far a drive from DC or Baltimore.
Oh and the WellRed podcast took me through MANY four hour drives every other weekend to when I had to bring my kid to her dad’s house. Those were always rough weekends and I always dreaded the weekends without her, but I still tell stories from those. The one about rappers might be my favorite ever, but Vick’s dog fighting ring was a close second!
I started watching yall right around the election and to this day I remain thankful for you, Trae, Drew and Trevor Noah (and the whole incredible Daily Show cast)!! You guys made me laugh about shit that I didn’t want to laugh about because it was so depressing, but it was how y’all helped us all, and I’m sure yourselves.
I live in Louisiana and needed some Liberal Rednecks in my life. Refreshing change from my norm!!!
I love anything you put in the universe. After teaching all day and running after three kids all afternoon, YOU are what relaxes me when I’m folding the 7th load of laundry at 10:30 at night. Thanks for keeping me company and also making me laugh. 🙌🏼❤️. Also go Jerry Mander 2024!!!! 🤩🤩🤩
That’s really cool. I have a cousin who died at Chickamauga. He was with the 73rd Illinois Infantry. I’m on the opposite end of the country but I’d love to see that park in person someday. Thanks for taking us along!
Having a much-needed lazy Sunday watching playoff hockey. Thanks for reminding me I should probably get out and enjoy the sunshine and get my steps in, though. Hope y’all have a blast at LJ’s party (especially Bain)!
