(Fret not, non-football fans… this isn’t all about football:) Today we lost an absolute Tennessee Titans legend and one of my favorite football players as a kid… Frank Wycheck. Frank was only 52, but as we know, the damage done to these athletes bodies (especially in his day, before the helmets were made safer) is often just too much.
Frank and I went to University of Maryland. Though he was a few years younger, I followed his college and professional career. He made us proud. Wishing comfort for his family during their grief.
I think you and I are pretty much the same age (I turned twelve like two weeks after the Miracle). I was born and raised about an hour south of Nashville, so the Oilers / Titans coming to town was a huge moment when I was a kid. I have such fond memories of Frank (and his jersey in my closet). I wasn’t on my phone really yesterday...and found out he died when the notification for this post popped up on my phone at a brewery today. Well, at least I had a beer in my hand when I started crying. Rest in peace, Frank. And I hope y’all have a good time on the train.

Remember Frank Wycheck well. Longtime Titans fan.
Sounds like you guys are doing the Polar Express train, you'll have a great time. Make those memories, we'll wait for the pastor.
We’re the same way about football. LOVE it, but were so damn glad when our son decided on his own not to play. He plays everything else, so it’s fine.
Have a great time on the Holiday train. When my son was younger we got to ride Thomas the Tank Engine! Trains are fun. Love ya! 💜
