Walkies are good for all 3 of ya (dumb pollen!) as soon as mom gets the ok to start. Pls look into pelvic floor therapy for mom as well, it was a good help for me about a year post c-section (but they'll tell her when best to go) to get back the feeling of my abdomen. Good on ya for identifying what you want to do. Baby wearin' - my kid hated it & it took a while bc stitches, ymmv, but gets y'all more mobile too. Can we give Mrs F the gold star for timing mat leave to butt up w summer break?! Masterclass.

Love this! Congratulations to you and Amber; this kid is gonna be your biggest adventure yet. So fun to hear your take on becoming a Dad. Hilarious!!! 💯

I'm so happy for you that you re-found the park! As an Auntie (so one who gets to see but not have to do) the best way for a happy Bain is for a happy Corey & Amber. Y'all got this! (Think about it like this . . . . You'd never think less of Amber needing to do something for herself).

Plus, brains are basically meanies (family language)

Don't sweat it man, mine are 5 and 7 and I've never been in better shape. I got big after the first but once they start moving (and making mess), its over for weight gain. I think I burn at least 500 calories a day picking shit up off the floor.

Hey, Corey - I see you're playing the Helium next weekend, or so their ad says. I'm sad I can't go this time. Having a baby is giving great new material.

I feel ya! I’m one of them that gains weight stupid easy. Ugh!

BUT,

Once your boy is old enough to put in a stroller and walk with him, you’ll get back to your 10K steps a day. But it will be better, because he’ll be with you.

Rock on Dad!!

I certainly wish I had a park-walk friend... you'll get rid of that weight, don't worry. Men seem to find it easier to lose the fat -- my friend in NYC lost sixty goddamn pounds last year on Noom. And since he walks ten miles per day, he has the most beautifully toned legs I've ever seen on a 72 year old man. (He wears shorts all the time. Show-off...) It does me good to hear how happy you are about the Bainmeister.

Hey Corey! Glad to hear from you. Everything in moderation.. including moderation, ya know? You’ve got a chance to model healthy choices for Bain. Sounds like that’s your plan. He’ll go out walking and golfing with you and learn to choose healthy foods because he’ll want to be like daddy. Give that sweet boy a smoochie on his head for me. Much joy for you and your family!

When I first glanced at the title, I thought you were saying that your son now weighs 15 lbs! Ha ha! That’d be a big boy!
