I had a fantastic Thanksgiving and I hope you and all the substackers had one just as good as mine.
Couple thoughts:
One, please don’t apologize for feeling under the weather or worry about beating a dead horse by mentioning it. It’s the time of year for that stuff.
Two, before anyone worries too much about me, I work in middle-management so I do make more than minimum wage and honestly, as stressful as retail is, it’s so much less stressful than my last job. Before my latest stint in retail, I was an EMT (with the PTSD to prove it! *rimshot*) so at least at my current job, I get to sleep in my own bed every night and nobody dies. (Side note to that: If you ever want to hear some WILD stories of life on an ambulance, hit me up. I’ve got stories for days.)
Anyway, I’m rambling. Feel better, bud. Very glad to have helped kick the sermon in gear this week.
I have no idea if my prayer request inspired today’s message or if it merely aligned nicely with it but either way, I am genuinely touched. Thank you, Pastor Petey, for a much-needed message and thank you, Corey, for passing along my prayer request.
