First of all any time I hear you say Granny Bain it cracks me up. So, at my 93 year old mothers wake it was more cocktail party. No wailing, etc. She lead a long, wonderful life and was one of the funniest people I have ever known. So her wake was a celebration of her life, not her death. I kept waiting for someone to walk around and offer you a bacon wrapped scallop. The next day when family was getting our last directions from the funeral home guy, who by the way was more upset at our mothers death than we were, my brother raised his hand and asked “who’s paying for this?” We all busted a gut and pointed at the casket. Listening to this had me laughing for sure!
