Now, I don't know if this is good or terrible advice, but having too many bugs on the lawn, like most lawn problems, I would solve with mowing. I bet it's like free bug-innard fertilizer. Might get a touch messy on the driveway, but I say go for it. Mainly because it's not my driveway, and I think it'll make a good story. Good luck with the bugs!
