My number 1 is The Outsiders. 2nd is The Breakfast Club. As far as newer movies, Minar. It really hits.

Oh, and re Stephen king... the best book is The Stand. The original version that wasn’t “updated.” Right up there too is Billy Summers, even though it’s a little different vibe than king’s usual work. Well worth the read though!

All time favorite? Kingdom of Heaven (Director’s cut). I’ve seen it 126 times. Yes, I’m a geek who kept count. Right up there with it though are Stand By Me, American Graffiti, Dad, and (please don’t judge me!) Gone With the Wind. Newer movies?? 🤔🤷‍♀️

In my ever so humble opinion, The Godfather and The Godfather Part II are probably the two BEST films ever made. As far as my favorite film, I might have to go with Jaws. Favorite recent film? Man, Top Gun: Maverick was just so much more entertaining and satisfying than it had any right to be. The VVitch is one of the creepiest horror movies I’ve ever seen. The Fabelmans is the best movie Spielberg has made in at least 25 years. Denis Villeneue’s Dune is spectacular and, you know what, The Machine was gee-dee hilarious. Best comedy in at least ten years. That’s right. I said it.

Favorite movie of all time is The Wizard of Oz. It was an event cause we didn't have a color TV & had to go to my Grandparents house to watch.

The Hunger Games quadrilogy is my favorite from the last 10 years along with the Pitch Perfect trilogy.

I think the movies I watched the most as a kid would be willow, goonies, princess Bride, toy soldiers (The movie was Sean Astin not the cartoon). The past 5 to 10 years probably the frozen movies and encanto. I did watch Frozen because of my son. He was two at the time. But as an adult I watched encanto by myself lol. If you ask me again in an hour my answer might be completely different.

#1 Forest Gump

Watched with my son at least 10 times from when he was young. He is a fine young man that is getting married at the ripe old age of 27 in two short weeks. So very happy in love.

# 2 Blazing Saddles as it is irreverent and just plain funny.

Love to you all .

1) Way up high on the all-time favorite list for me is The Breakfast Club. No question.

2) My favorite of the more recent ones I've seen is The Adam Project.

Movies are definitely not the same as they used to be, back when movies had whole casts and a whole team of people behind the scenes who had to work together to achieve a successful final product. Now, it feels like it's really just a couple graphic designers who are CGI aces.

Please don't get me wrong. I know it's much more than that & I know good CGI requires an insane amount of talent & is way better & more than anything I could ever do. It just usually takes away from the whole movie experience for me.

I'm a super sappy sort. I love movies that evoke emotions. That just isn't easy to pull off with a CGI-overloaded movie. I want to see & connect with characters/roles that I can relate to. There are so many '80s & '90s movies that I could (and have) watch over & over again.

Sorry to ramble! 🤭 You're the best, Corey! Thanks so much for all you do! 😁
