As I continue on my quest to be the worlds greatest father, I’d like to update you on some recent revelations I’ve had…. And as always, I’d like to bitch about society a bit! Love y’all!
Obviously not gonna be popular, but I firmly believe screen time needs to be limited. If I don't get casted out, I'd be happy to share my reasoning in a different setting
CRF have you happened to fall down the Blippi rabbit hole yet? Some of the episodes can be a little annoying but he's growing on me and my son loves it. I concur on Ms Rachel as well 👀.I'm looking forward to a future Bluey episode as it has quickly become my favorite kids show. Little man and I sit down every weekday morning he has his little protein milk and I have my Cinnamon Toast Crunch and we watch an episode or two of Bluey. It's our little ritual and I look forward to it every day.
CRF spitting nothing but the truth! That woman grates on my last nerves but my kiddo is enthralled and I can make a pot of coffee in the morning so she is doing the Lord’s work. I’ll pop in my ear buds and avoid another chorus of Icky Sticky Bubble Gum while my kid sits there in slack-jawed wonder.
I don't have any recommendations but I will say do not show your child documentaries about space or the universe because when I was about 4 years old I watched a documentary about the heat death of the universe and developed existential dread about the world ending. I had nightmares about humanity being wiped out and it really annoyed my parents.
My son, Sam, was born in 2004 so he was all about WonderPets and The Backyardigans and then graduated to Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends. The last one he never really outgrew and for good reason. Foster’s hits.

Hilarious. I asked for this in the earlier post and it was already here. Lol

I'm part of the realism sect of parenthood practices. Apocalypse Now, Wall Street, etc., then, for lighter viewing, Blazing Saddles.
