That happy-journal idea does outwardly sound "stupid" (in a very funny way) but it's actually fantastic. I'm also a creator who struggles with depression and thinking about it, there's tons of kind words people have had for me that I've just forgotten, especially while depressed, that could help pull me out of the ol' "I contribute nothing to humanity" funk.
Also, never be afraid to say the word "suicide" instead of "the bad thing" etc. I get the feeling we should destigmatize the word just so people don't have any more reasons to feel weird talking about it openly when they have those thoughts. (especially men, because they societally "aren't supposed to have feelings"). Edit: Don't take this as a reprimand or anything, I just realized it came across that way.
When I had Covid-19 vaccines 1 & 2 I felt the same way as you, Corey. Wiped me out for nearly 3 days each. The booster surprised me, with only a sore arm for a reaction. Please, always take care of yourself first.

Booster had me at 80% for a day. Anyway, you can look up the 1918 anti-masking league from the pandemic.
I'm almost sorry to say neither vaccine nor the booster bothered me more than just a sore arm. Either I'm lucky or my immune system is shit.

Please never push yourself to create when you’re sick. We all understand!
I loved this morning ramble and look forward to the next Southern History when you can. Don’t force it.
We missed you so much at Trae’s Steakisode.
