The Civil War voice narration...just like PBS! I like it. One request, though, from my old ears-I noticed recently you’ve added background music to your videos but it’s hard to understand the narration over the music. And if you’ve explained why you added the music earlier and I missed it, I apologize.
*hits repeat* my undiagnosed terminal illness flared up again and while I'm projectile vomiting bile, I'm like crying bizarrely happy tears cuz I just realized who your civil war voice has been reminding me of. my pappaw Zeb who was the only one of my moms side of the family who ever was convincing when they said they loved me. They wouldn't let me see him or go to the funeral when he died cuz I'm not saved. If I wasn't a poor stupid hobo I'd pay you a million dollars to read goodnight moon as civil war guy. In other news, I those union guys were having a worse day than I am. Fun fact my new favorite word I found out cuz of this little series you're doing is scallywag...which from what I was reading during my break as a bile powered jet engine was a pejorative for southern unionists. And thus is going directly into my daily vocabulary. Can't wait till the next one. For all the reasons.
Also this actually a happy post. I know it seems dark and depressing. But think of it this way...my life is terrible. Objectively. To the point where it's hard to remember anything good at all from the more distant past. It's not his exact voice but close enough that I can hear the real one in my head again and I'm giggling that it's the CIVIL WAR that made that happen. Alright I'll shut the hell up now. Hope everyone's well.
Every time I went to visit my folks when they lived in Dalton, I always made sure to hit the battlefield. Next time I get back down that way, I will have to go back and take the Corey Tour!
Most historically excellent! Love that Civil War stuff, esp since I'm unlikely to make it out there, being in CA. And the idea of 'civil war' stuff is a bit easier to digest in the last few days what with the red mist dissipating, at least for now.
You should 'march to the sea' in this manner, with your new kid in tow :P Cheers!

I really like the Southern voice narration.

But not as a pejorative. The Scallywags would be a great name for a country/punk type band.
Liking these walks Corey!
