Good morning and Happy Sunday, Children of The Flock, and all you beautiful Citizens of Chickaluki! We are so glad to have you in the congregation on what, if we are not mistaken, is the first-ever Easter Service here at Pastor Petey’s Place for Parishioners, Both Pompeous & Prolitariate Alike!
To say Pastor Petey Perkins had a fire in his belly today would be an understatement! Of course, he’s also got about a dozen of Meemaw‘s Deviled eggs floating around in there, Praise God!
In this Easter special episode, Pastor Petey discusses Easter, of course, and the congregation's celebrations pertaining to it! He announces the Easter egg hunt and encourages parents to keep an eye on their younguns! Pastor Petey also shares a personal story about meeting his wife, Mrs. Pastor Petey, at a pizza joint one fateful night. Then, in his firey sermon, Pastor Petey gives a real-life testimony about a situation he was put in at an Easter Celebration this weekend. This sermon explores the hypocrisy of some Christians and the need to practice what they preach.
Pastor Petey would also like to say that not only is he aware that there are indeed good-hearted Christians out there, but he is friends with several. That said, if you yourself are a good-hearted Christian, this sermon is NOT an attack on you but on those who unfortunately give you a bad name!
Oh, and by the way, Pastor Petey knows that doesn't sound very funny, lol. But he promises that aside from a few serious points the Lord laid on his heart, this is a fun one!
