The times as a kid that I told a joke that I heard my dad or uncles say. Or I didn’t stand up or speak up about what I knew in my heart was the right thing still eats at me. I am white trash that was able to pull my self up by the opportunities that were in front of me. Our goal is to not pull that ladder up behind us but to make sure everyone has a ladder and can see how high they can climb.
