I have a theory on why. During pregnancy women are very restricted on medication they can have. After pregnancy, being sick isn't a big deal especially if they have medicine available. I had a similar experience and my wife has qualified for the Marvel Universe in my book.
Remember that your wife is a teacher, so she's around disease vectors all day every day and gets exposed to all kinds of crap all the time. Yes, women have a higher tolerance for stuff, it's the only way they can deal with all their reproductive system issues.
Aw, was hoping you’d be better soon. Have you tested did Covid? Also in the South and something is growing now in Alabama that is messing with my sinuses. Your kid is adorable! You can always just post pictures and videos of him to make us happy. Take care of yourself. Finally, of course women are stronger…. We birth babies !

Female teachers can throw up, have a fever of 103, pass out in class and stand back up 10 minutes later and finish the lesson.
