Corey, your talking about being a new dad has brought back so many good memories. We adopted and our boy was born in Santa Cruz CA. He was in the NICU for a while but we drove him back to Iowa in 3 days. It was literally a journey lol.

I so relate to the is she/he breathing. I did with my daughter and I do it with my dogs! Congrats on the babe and I wish Amber a quick recovery!

I'm the established cook and mother of 4 plus open kitchen. Cooking is just overwhelming. I wish it was a break 😩 I used to enjoy it. Maybe this is a sign I need to set some new boundaries 😆 no talking to mom while she's cooking. I'll make sure I'm chopping something with my lovely, sharp chef's knife 🔪 while I set these new ground rules 🤣🤣🤣

This was some good stuff. It really brought back memories from when my first daughter was born 20 years ago. I was deathly afraid driving her home from the hospital. Looking forward to the new podcast. I’m a huge history and comic nerd too. I’d love to hear you talk comics which we don’t get a lot of on your other podcasts.

I’m amazed at how fast you’re getting this stuff! You’re doing great. 👍I have a tip for you. If you want to get the paranoia out of checking to see if they’re breathing, you just make it into a meditation on this little life going right along there (while you check to see if they’re breathing under the cool, calm, meditative exterior pose...)

Will you still be in Portland next week? Or are you taking paternity leave? Looking forward to seeing you and maybe talking with you if you do make it. I got the meet and greet. If you answer that in your post I apologize, having audio issues with my PC and haven't been able to hear it yet.
