Good morning Substackers! I hope you are all enjoying everything I’ve been putting out as of late, and I’d like to once again thank you for being a loyal subscriber, buying the new book, supporting all of my podcasting endeavors, and for just being awesome in general!
We are at the mid-way point in our Colonel Cornbread saga and things are heating up! (If you listened to the latest Conversations W/ Cornbread, you know what I’m talking about, and if you haven’t… you ourt!)
Cornbread and Auggie have suspicions of their own, of course, but just like you can’t have a murder without a body, you can’t really have a jewel thief without a Jewel!
William sure seems to have been up to something, I mean we did hear him confess to the Pastor…. But then again, the Pastor had a confession of his own, and he let it slip that he had just lost his most prominent parishioner…. I wonder who that could be?
Theatre Director Barnaby Buxton seems innocent enough, but with how hard he’s been hittin the bottle lately, would he even remember commuting the crime?
One thing is for sure: Mr. Randall Johnson’s patience is wearing thin. A man of his wealth and stature is not used to having to wait so long to get what he wants, and I’m sure Annabel is taking the brunt of his anger!
In our next episode (coming out later this evening!) we will inch ever closer to the truth, and find out a little bit more about what makes this Ruby worth all the fuss!
Thank you all for all the positive feedback, and for subscribing at the 5 dollar level and telling all your friends!
I’m having a blast telling this story, and am already excited about working on whatever the next one will be!
Love y’all!
‘Corey
Same!
Can't wait for the next installment.
