What is the state of the union?
Who among us can say?
It's more a state of confusion
For those lost in the fray
Sure our presidents is older
There’s no denying that’s true
But last night he seemed golden
I don’t know about you
Now don’t get me wrong
He does things I don’t like
Him & Lindsey Graham got along
And he can’t ride a bike
There’ve been times in the past
I couldn’t tell what he said
Was that “This too shall pass”?
Or “I want some free bread!”?
However last night he seemed
Like a man who could lead!
Even though possibly
He was twacked out on speed!
Can’t say I blame him at all
Hell I’ve been there before
I’ve had to take an adderoll
Just to get off the floor
This year will be brutal
All election years are
But this one’s more crucial
The biggest stakes seen by far
The Democrats need a home run
