I think that "they" have changed the recipe for M&M's, too, because they just don't taste the same...and it has nothing to do with the shoes that the characters wear! P. S. I'll bet that I have that same glass candy dish! I found it in an antique store and had to buy it because my "surrogate" grandmother had one and all of the kids always did a dive-bomb for whatever she put inside! :-)

Solid gold. How can circus peanuts still exist but not Butterfinger BBs?! Also, your grandma’s candy: was it crispy/crunchy like a brittle or soft and melty like a praline? Those strawberry candies were/are amazing!!

For me, it was PB Max. Peanut butter that had a honey undertone, sitting on top of a cookie, covered in milk chocolate. Existed from 1990-1994. Went out of business (despite being hugely popular) because the*Mars*family*doesn't*like*peanut*butter* !!!!! I hate tomatoes, but I'm not spitting on Heinz for selling stewed cans of it to the public! It's been 28 years and I'm still mad.

Yeah it pisses me off that they changed the recipe to Butterfinger. It is absolutely not the same. You talking about your grandmother made me think about when I was five or six sitting in the church pew next to my great-grandmother. She’d give me candy to keep me quiet. Sometimes it was the little hard strawberry candies, sometimes it was a breath mint. But I remember one particular time, she was out of candy , and she gave me a mint Rolaid . 😂😂😂never ever forgot that. Y’all be safe out there.

Butterfingers, and butterfinger BBs were and always will be shit. You have bad opinions. Give me Milky Ways or give me death.

I remember one time going, “Oh shit, you know what I could do with right now that I haven’t had in forever? Butterfinger BBs. Where can I get some?” And then I found out. I found out the dark truth.

The sudden tonal shift from dewy-eyed “good ol’ days” country nostalgia to righteous belligerence in this post is great.

I really liked Butterfinger BB's, but I LOVE the Butterfinger Crisp. It's the perfect amalgam chocolate, butterfinger stuff and crunch. Just perfect.

Also, the late night calls to companies used to lead to all sorts of free shit 3-5 days later. My fat ass mastered that after the original Doritos 3Ds were discontinued. Such a shrewd move.
